The Institute of Natural Sciences had started with their Mushroom Research Project as part of their Environmental Monitoring and Protection Program (EMPP). The Mushroom Research Project is a subproject under the Biodiversity Project of the EMPP. The Mushroom Research Project is devoted in understanding the nature of tropical mushrooms such as Pleurotus florida and Pleurotus sajur cajo. This Mushroom Research Project was conceptualized as part of the Research – Extension – Production (REP) vision/mission of the f the Environmental Monitoring and Protection Program of the Institute of Natural Sciences.
