SAS teachers showcase talents

The School of Arts and Sciences (SAS) has proven that it is the Center for the Arts as its faculty members and students came up with Vizcaya Sarzuela, a sing and dance play. Featuring the scenic spots of the Province of Nueva Vizcaya, the SAS family presented a one-hour play. The play focused on the beauty of Nueva Vizcaya highlighting its scenic spots, diverse cultures,, and the practices and values of its people.
To showcase the talents and skills in singing, dancing and acting of the SAS family, the play was presented at the Sacred Heart Center of the University. The first show was held at 3:30 in the afternoon and the second show at 5 o’clock in the afternoon of Sept. 10, 2014.
The play, directed by Mrs. Zemaia Sen Paulino, was participated by selected students and teachers from the different departments of SAS in celebration of the Luntian Week. The faculty members who performed in the event were Ms. Lysel Haloc, Mrs. Ma. Ines Minia, Mr. Paul Morales, Mr. John Vicente, Ms. Lady Labuzon, Ms. Zayda Asuncion, Mr. Philip Addauan, Ms. Luz ildefonso, Dr. Melfei Bungihan, Ms. Melanie Gurat and many more. Students from the audience were proud and thrilled to see their teachers in a lighter mood doing some acting, singing and dancing. #
