CICM-PSN culminates this year’s Governance Assembly; SLC-La Union to host next
With 103 delegates from the six CICM schools in the Philippines, the 2022 Congregation of the Immaculate Heart of Mary-Philippines School Network (CICM-PSN) Governance Assembly concluded today, November 23, at the Sacred Heart Center.
The network is comprised of the following CICM schools: Saint Louis College of San Fernando, La Union; Saint Louis University, Baguio City; Saint Mary’s University, Bayombong, Nueva Vizcaya; University of Saint Louis, Tuguegarao City; Saint Louis College-Cebu, Mandaue City; and Maryhill School of Theology, Quezon City.
In his message, CICM-PCE Chairperson Rev. Fr. Macwayne Maniwang said that the primary purpose of the assembly is to create a new strategic development plan for 2023-2028, dubbed as the CICM PSN Vision 2028.
Moreover, Rev. Fr. Maniwang led the plenary session for the approval of cluster resolutions which was done on Tuesday afternoon.
Meanwhile, Saint Louis College (SLC) of La Union will host the next CICM-PSN Governance Assembly, as SMU President Dr. John Octavious S. Palina, together with SMU Vice Presidents, turned over the key of responsibility to SLC President Rev. Fr. Ramon R. Caluza.
In her closing remarks, SMU Vice President for Finance and Treasurer Mrs. Venica S. Acosta thanked the Marian community and other outside organizations for the effort and time they invested to make the event successful.
