Ms. Rocel Audrey Batara, MIT, faculty and the promotions and linkage coordinator of the SMU School of Engineering, Architecture & Info Tech (SEAIT) at Saint Mary’s University (SMU), was invited as a guest lecturer at Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS) in Indonesia from March 4-6, 2025.

During her visit, Ms. Batara conducted a Guest Lecture on Human-Machine Interactions, where she discussed the latest advancements in artificial intelligence and smart technologies. She also led a Photography Workshop, providing insights into visual storytelling and digital media. Additionally, she participated in an official meeting at the Laboratory of Smart City and Cybersecurity, where both institutions explored potential research collaborations.

The partnership between SMU and ITS reflects their shared commitment to academic exchange, technological innovation, and international collaboration.
