SMU goes solar, ties with WEnergy

In a greener, healthier world, we would conserve more, use the energy we have more wisely and efficiently, and rely only on sources of energy that are clean, renewable and tread lightly on the planet. Among the major targets of the University for the upcoming years, is the installation of 219.7 kWp rooftop solar Photovoltaic (PV) Station in the College Campus, hence, SMU has sought for the help of WEnergy Global Pte Ltd, which provides the solar energy expertise. On  September 28, 2017, an initial survey of building roofs for the installation of Solar PV panels was done by Engr. Fabian Weber, head of Systems Design and Engineering, and

Engr. Robert de Groot, lead transmission & distribution engineer. #(contributed photo)
