On May 15, 2024, the signing of the Memorandum of Agreement between Hytec Power Inc. and Saint Mary’s University took place at Hytec Power Inc., located in Novaliches, Quezon City. The MOA signing was attended by Dr. John Octavious S. Palina, President of Saint Mary’s University; Dr. Moises Alexander T. Asuncion, Vice President for Academics at Saint Mary’s University; Engr. Carina S. Mallillin, Officer-in-Charge Dean of the School of Engineering, Architecture, and Information Technology (SEAIT); and the heads of various departments within SEAIT. Also present at the MOA signing were Engr. Eric Jude Soliman, CEO and President of Hytec Power Inc., and Engr. Augusto Soliman, External Vice President of Hytec Power Inc.

The Memorandum of Agreement includes provisions for on-the-job training (OJT)/internships for students, a faculty immersion program, curriculum enhancement and development, applied research and development, assessment and certification for students and trainers, as well as faculty development and technology-based training methods.
