Saint Mary’s University proudly shares the recent achievement of two of its faculty members, Dr. Kenneth L. Maslang and Mr. David A. Cabonero, who were officially inducted into the National Research Council of the Philippines (NRCP) during the DOST–NRCP 2026 Annual Scientific Conference and 93rd General Membership Assembly held on March 13, 2026 at the Philippine International Convention Center.

Dr. Maslang, Head of the Social Sciences and Philosophy Department, took his oath as a Regular Member, while Mr. Cabonero, Director of the University Learning Resource Center, was inducted as an Associate Member. Their induction reflects their continued involvement in research and their growing contribution to the academic community beyond the University.

The conference brought together researchers and professionals from different fields, providing a space to share ideas, learn from current studies, and connect with fellow scholars. For both faculty members, the experience offered valuable insights and opportunities for collaboration.

Their participation and recognition in the NRCP highlight Saint Mary’s University’s steady presence in the national research community and its ongoing support for research and professional growth.
