𝐒𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐡 𝐋𝐮𝐳𝐨𝐧 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐕𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐭 𝐒𝐌𝐔 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐄𝐱𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐞

Ten partners in the Synergy Program from South Luzon visited Saint Mary’s University this morning, Aug. 8, 2023, for a learning exchange experience. They are from the following organizations: 𝘾𝘽𝙎𝙐𝘼, 𝘾𝙖𝙣𝙤𝙛𝙚𝙘𝙤, 𝙂𝙎𝘼𝘾, 𝙏𝙖𝙢𝙪𝙘𝙤, 𝙇𝙋𝙈𝙀, 𝙋𝙚𝙘𝙪𝙖𝙧𝙞𝙖 𝘿𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙡𝙤𝙥𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝘾𝙤𝙤𝙥𝙚𝙧𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙫𝙚, 𝘽𝙊𝘼𝘾, and 𝘽𝙁𝘿𝘾. As part of the learning exchange from Aug. 8-10, 2023, 𝐄𝐧𝐠𝐫. 𝐀𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐨 𝐏𝐢𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐥 of the SMU – Technology Transfer and Business Development Office (TTBDO) shared the programs and services of the incubation facility, as well as its best practices and challenges.
The Synergy Program is funded by the Province of West Flanders, Belgium. SMU is one of the six HEIs in the Philippines and Belgium, which are members of the Synergy Program. The central aim of this partnership is ‘Adaptation to climate change through entrepreneurship in sustainable agriculture seeking mitigation benefits,’ with sustainable agriculture, climate change, and entrepreneurship as the main themes.
Meanwhile, 𝐄𝐧𝐠𝐫. 𝐉𝐞𝐟𝐫𝐢𝐞 𝐀𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐲𝐮, one of the Synergy focal persons from SMU, joined the North Luzon Team for the learning exchange in Camarines Sur on the same dates.
