Two Saint Mary’s University Faculty Serve as Evaluators at the 4th International Conference on Pedagogical Research and Innovations

Saint Mary’s University recognizes two of its faculty members, Dr. Christopher Allen S. Marquez, Director of the Community Engagement and Indigenous Peoples Studies Center and Dr. Melanie G. Gurat, Director of the University Research Center, who served as evaluators at the 4th International Conference on Pedagogical Research and Innovations (ICPRI), organized by Nueva Vizcaya State University.

The conference was held from December 3 to 5, 2025, at the Highlander Hotel and Resort in Solano, Nueva Vizcaya, Philippines, with the theme “Local Flexibility Meets Global Quality: Leveraging Academic and Agro-Forestry Advancements.” It brought together educators, researchers, and innovators from various institutions to share knowledge and collaborate on educational research.

Dr. Marquez served as an evaluator in Track A: Social Research, reviewing presentations on social dynamics, educational policies, and community development. Dr. Gurat evaluated presentations in Track C: Education, Curriculum, and Governance B, which focused on curriculum development, educational governance, and teaching methodologies.

Their participation reflects Saint Mary’s University’s support for research and education. By taking part in international conferences like this, the university stays engaged in discussions on improving learning outcomes and educational practices.
