The 4PAUSE project focuses on transforming Nueva Vizcaya into a “therapeutic destination” by integrating digital technology into the tourism sector. This strategy aims to boost the local economy and support small businesses by branding the province as a sanctuary for wellness, utilizing its natural landscapes and cool climate to attract health-conscious travelers.
The initiative aligns with international standards by supporting SDG 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth), SDG 9 (Innovation), and SDG 11 (Sustainable Communities). As the team prepares for the National Vetting stage, their success serves as a model for how academic excellence and government support can create a sustainable, tech-driven future for the province.
