ICLMS Department Represents SMU at IRCITE 2026

Last March 19, 2026, four representatives from the ICLMS Department proudly represented Saint Mary’s University at the International Research Conference on Information Technology Education (IRCITE) 2026 held at Bulacan State University in Malolos.

The delegation was composed of Lance Krystian Andres, Ferylene Valentin, Ethan Jericho Salvador, and Mr. IC Ramzil Ruiz.

They were invited to deliver an Oral Presentation during the conference, which carried the theme “Ideation, Utilization, and Adoption: Strengthening the Research-to-Practice Cycle in IT Education.” Each presenter showcased their respective research projects:

Lance Krystian Andres presented “TransparaBrgy: Blockchain-Based Barangay Management for BLGU La Torre North.”

Ferylene Valentin presented “ELako.Nv: A Digital Marketing Solution for the Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Nueva Vizcaya.”

Ethan Jericho Salvador presented “VAWCare: An Integrated Reporting and Assistance System for Violence Against Women and Children (VAWC) – A Decision Support System.”

Mr. IC Ramzil Ruiz presented “MediSync: A Medical Information System of School Governance and Operation Division (SGOD) – School Health Section: A Decision Support System.”

The delegation was also assisted by Adrian Deo Lacaden and Zeth Layno, who provided support throughout the event.

These achievements reflect the university’s continued commitment to academic excellence, research innovation, and active participation in international academic platforms.
