Saint Mary’s University (SMU) is named as the top performing psychometrician school in Cagayan Valley in the August 2023 Psychometrician Licensure Examinations.

On top of that, Marian alumna Edralyn Joy Gandeza RPm led the new batch of newly Registered Marian Psychometricians after securing ninth place with a passing rate of 87.40 percent.

In an interview with The MARIAN, the official student publication of Saint Mary’s University, Gandeza revealed that she dreamed of being a topnotcher but did not expect that it would come true.

According to the Professional Regulation Commission, SMU obtained a 85.71-percent institutional passing rate (18 out of 21 passers), a figure that is above the national passing rate of 73.27-percent (6,133 passers out of 8,370 takers).

The passing rate for the first timers and repeaters is 85% and 100%, respectively.

Meanwhile, two SMU alumni, Stephanie Eira Aduca, RPsy, and Chantal Therese Tayaban, RPsy, have successfully registered as psychologists.
