Saint Mary’s University (SMU) School of Health and Natural Sciences Nursing Department has been officially recognized by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) as one of the Top 1 Nursing Schools in the Philippines in Category B for schools with 50-99 examinees during the November 2024 Nurse Licensure Examination.

The prestigious award was presented on December 16, 2024, at the PICC Complex in Pasay, Metro Manila. Representing SMU to receive the award were Dr. John Octavious S. Palina, University President, and Dr. Joman J. Baliton, Dean of the School of Health and Natural Sciences. The award was handed out by the members of the PRC and the Board of Nursing.

This achievement highlights the university’s unwavering dedication to its mission that continues to lead in shaping the next generation of Marian nursing professionals.
