SMU places 2nd at 21st Inter-University Brain Collision

Saint Mary’s University earned 2nd place at the 21st Inter-University Brain Collision (IUBC), held at Saint Louis University on March 28, 2026 and hosted by the School of Engineering and Architecture Honor Society (SEAHS).
The SMU team was led by Nicolo Timbreza (BSEE-4), with John Bryan Mendoza (BSCE-3) and Jaslyn Joy Cabauatan (BSCE-3), under the guidance of Engr. Joy Pimentel. Their strong teamwork and performance secured the university’s place among the top contenders.
This achievement highlights SMU’s continued commitment to academic excellence and student competitiveness on the inter-university stage.
