Congratulations! -Saint Mary’s University Grade School (SMUGS) has been awarded as the Best Performing Private Elementary School in the Division of Nueva Vizcaya’s Search for Indomitable Knowledge, Attributes, and Talents (SIKAT) for Teaching and Non-Teaching Employees for Calendar Year 2025. This award recognizes the school’s outstanding commitment to academic excellence and the exceptional talents of its personnel. The awarding ceremony was held last Oct. 13, 2025 at Carlos M. Padilla Convention Center represented by Mrs. Ailyn D. Laplano SMUGS Quality Assurance Officer and Ryzza V. Bayaca a grade 6 student and CBPG president.

The SIKAT Awards celebrate schools and individuals who demonstrate exceptional performance and a dedication to educational leadership. This achievement, according to the principal Dr. Ma. Cristeta M. Aduca in her announcement, is a testament to the collective hard work of all faculty and staff of SMUGS, whose unwavering commitment has created an enriching and high-quality learning environment. Representing the Division at the Regional Level

With this remarkable achievement, SMUGS will now advance as the official entry for the Schools Division Office (SDO) of Nueva Vizcaya in the upcoming 2025 Regional Service-Oriented, Talented, Affective, Resilient, Spiritually-Driven (STARS) Awards. This regional competition will showcase the best schools from various divisions, all competing for the highest honors in educational excellence. The SMUGS community is filled with pride and excitement as they prepare to represent their division on a broader stage, highlighting school’s remarkable achievements and dedication to excellence.
