SMU Grade School Students Showcase Talents, Emphasize Healthy Living in Culminating Event

Nutrition Month celebration

Saint Mary’s University Grade School wrapped up its Nutrition Month celebration with an exciting event focused on the theme: “Food at Nutrition Security Maging Priority! Sapat na Pagkain Karapatan Natin.”, July 30.

Organized by the Science and TLE Teachers led by Mrs. Ma. Reggie R. Taboy, the event brought together the Marians to highlight the importance of good nutrition. The young students displayed their skills through energetic dance performances and heartfelt poem recitations. A key moment of the day was the awarding ceremony for the winners of various competitions. Students who excelled in poster making, nutri-quiz, and sandwich making received certificates to celebrate their creativity and knowledge about health, food and nutrition.

Mrs. Rosemarie Paned, a TLE Teacher, hosted the event and ensured the program flowed smoothly. According to Mrs. Taboy, the head of the organizing committee, the culminating activity reminded everyone to value good nutrition as a foundation of a healthy life. The event not only raised health awareness but also celebrated the talents and dedication of the students and teachers.
