Marian Nursing Students Win Top Awards at 2025 CVHRDC Health Research Forum

Nursing students from the School of Health and Natural Sciences (SHANS) earned awards at the 2025 Cagayan Valley Health Research and Development Consortium (CVHRDC) Annual Health Research Forum, held on December 15–16, 2025, at NGN Grand Hotel in Caggay, Tuguegarao City. 

Mr. Kurt Rainier Rumbaoa placed 2nd in the Digital Research Poster Presentation (Student Category) for his study, which was noted for its clarity, innovation, and relevance to current health issues. Mr. Earvin Michael E. Bibay also secured 2nd Place in the Oral Paper Research Presentation (Student Category), impressing the judges with his strong methodology, clear presentation, and insightful discussion of findings. 

Hosted by the CVHRDC, the annual forum brought together student researchers from across the Cagayan Valley to present studies addressing pressing health concerns. The achievements of the SHANS nursing students highlight the institution’s commitment to research excellence and the development of future health professionals.
