Ex-OFW Lifelong learners step closer to college thru ETEEAP

Four lifelong learners, including a former overseas Filipino worker, have undergone the panel interface in their quest for baccalaureate degrees. Their rigorous interview is part of the process of the Expanded Tertiary Education Equivalency and Accreditation Program (ETEEAP). At Saint Mary’s University, the CHED Program is implemented by the Equivalency and Technical Vocational Assessment Office (ETVAO).

The interviewed candidates include Erwin O. Dialogo, who worked as a sports coordinator in Saudi Arabia for seven years. He is a candidate for the Bachelor of Physical Education (BPEd). The other candidates are Miss Janelyn G. Ablao candidate for the Bachelor of Science in Business Administration major in Marketing Management worked for eight years as administrative assistant of the Office of the Sangguniang Panlalawigan of Ifugao Province and in recently years as a real estate agent. Meanwhile, Rizza Mae C. Bacay and Kenneth Yarcia, both candidates for the Bachelor of Science in Office Administration program, have been working at the Provincial Local Government of Nueva Vizcaya for five years. They currently serving as Administrative Aid III (COS) and Administrative Aid IV, respectively. Their professional experiences and achievements reflect years of professional experience, dedication, perseverance, and commitment to lifelong learning.

This accomplishment underscores not only the competence and determination of the candidates but also Saint Mary’s University’s commitment to providing accessible and flexible pathways for working Filipinos to earn a college degree through the ETEEAP.
