Last October 16, 2025, two teams from the ICLMS Department proudly represented Saint Mary’s University at the Hack4Gov 2025 Capture-the-Flag Competition held at Cagayan State University – Andrews Campus, Tuguegarao, Cagayan.

Team 4RCANIX achieved an outstanding 3rd Place Overall with a total score of 800 points. The team is composed of Hendré Leigh Sagabaen, Jasfer Dela Cruz, John Paul Dres, and Ram Sison, under the guidance of Dr. Adonis Garces.

Furthermore, John Paul Dres earned an individual score by placing 3rd in the Individual Category with 390 points.

Team sudo_Marian also delivered an impressive performance, securing 4th Place Overall with a total score of 660 points. The team consists of Charles Agustin, Lance Krystian Andres, Ray Richard Gabatino, and Renato Peras, mentored by Sir IC Ramzil Ruiz.

These achievements reflect the university’s commitment to academic excellence, dedication and innovation in the field of cybersecurity.
