Saint Mary’s University hosts this year’s Congregatio Immaculati Cordis Mariae (CICM) Schools Student Leaders’ Convergence which is held on October 1-4, 2024.

The 106 delegates from four participating schools are from Saint Louis College (SLC) – La Union, Saint Louis University (SLU) – Baguio, University of Saint Louis-Tuguegarao (USLT), and the host school.

They were welcomed by the Hospitality and Tourism Department together with a performance from the SMU Marching Band. The participants also joined the Ethnicity Mass to observe the start of the Ethnicity Month.

Moreover, a dinner with performances from the SMU Band, Choral Society and Marian Dance Troupe welcomed the participants on Oct. 1 before the event’s official kick off today, Oct. 2.

With the theme, “Christian Young Leaders, Pilgrims of Hope for Indigenous Peoples,” the event will also showcase a community immersion to different parts of Bayombong. SMU is the indigenous peoples’ center of the CICM Philippine Schools Network.
