SMU Holds Victory Parade for New Marian Nurses

Saint Mary’s University (SMU) conducted a victory parade on December 10, 2025 as part of the Salubong 2025 to honor new Marian Nurses who excelled in the recent Philippine Nursing Licensure Examination (PNLE). The parade highlighted the outstanding performance of Marian Nurses and reinforced the university’s strong standing in nursing education.

The parade, organized by the Nursing Department of  School of Health and Natural Sciences (SHANS), featured the topnotchers, nursing graduates, faculty members, administrators, and students.  It formed part of the larger Salubong 2025 program, which began with a Thanksgiving Mass at the Mary Seat of Wisdom Chapel. After the Mass, the honorees were escorted through the Bayombong–Solano route in a celebratory motorcade highlighting their achievement.

Upon arrival at the SMU campus, the community formally welcomed the new nurses through the Salubong Ceremony, where students and personnel gathered to celebrate the accomplishment. The event concluded with a Recognition Program at the Sacred Heart Center, where the topnotcher and newly licensed nurses received formal acknowledgment from university officials.
