Commandant’s Briefing Signals the Commencement of RAATI 2026 at Saint Mary’s University

The Saint Mary’s University ROTC Unit opened the Regional Annual Administrative and Tactical Inspection (RAATI) 2026 with its initial phase held at the institution’s boardroom, attended by the inspection team, administrators, office heads, and directors.

The program, formally facilitated by the event’s emcee, Ms. Nizza Vivienne B. Pugong, NSTP–Literacy Training Service Facilitator, began with a solemn prayer that set a tone of purpose and reflection. A comprehensive Commandant’s Briefing was delivered by Col Arnel A. Floresca, GSC, INF, PA (Res), articulating the unit’s current standing and strategic direction.

This was followed by a substantive discussion led by Col Camilo A. Saddam and Group Commander Pagunuran, offering critical insights into areas for improvement while reinforcing the strengths of both the ROTC Unit and the broader NSTP Program.

The University President likewise imparted thoughtful reflections, after which the inspection proper continued at the SMU grounds, marking the transition from deliberation to demonstration.

This initial phase of RAATI 2026 highlights the institution’s collaborative effort in ensuring quality training, accountability, and continuous development.
