Saint Mary’s University- Nursing Department was invited to attend the Regular Session of the Sangguniang Panlalawigan of Nueva Vizcaya last October 5, 2026.

The invitation to SMU was to receive a Certificate of Commendation with resolution No. 2026-6693 commending Saint Mary’s University for its consistent 100% passing rate in the Philippine Nurse Licensure Examination and its invaluable contribution to raising health professionals in the province of Nueva Vizcaya.

The award was received by D. Moises Alexander T. Asuncion, Vice-President for Academic Affairs, together with Dr. Sherylou A. Benig, Department Head- Nursing Program and Mrs. Leycel F. Marzan, Clinical Coordinator. This milestone is a testimony that SMU is producing an excellent and highly competent Nursing Education in the Province.
