SAB Honors Graduating Cohorts in Solemn "Tribute to Parents" Ceremony

BAYOMBONG, Nueva Vizcaya — Saint Mary’s University’s (SMU) School of Accountancy and Business held its traditional “Tribute to Parents” on June 20, 2026, at the Fr. Cornelius Connus Gymnasium, celebrating the graduating students of July 2026 and February 2027. The solemn event brought together candidates from the departments of Accountancy, Hospitality & Tourism Management, Business Administration & Entrepreneurship, and Office Administration to express lifelong gratitude to their families.
The program featured an inspirational message from University President Dr. John Octavious S. Palina and welcome remarks by Academic Dean Dr. Regina D. Ramel. Faculty department heads presented the parents, while student speakers delivered heartfelt tribute messages. This deeply impactful tradition aligns with UN Sustainable Development Goal 4 (Quality Education) and SDG 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth), emphasizing how vital strong foundational support systems are in developing
competent, values-driven professionals equipped to advance sustainable global economic growth.
