The 29th Philippine Statistics Quiz (PSQ) Regional Championship was held on November 6, 2025, at Las Palmas Hotel, Bagay, Tuguegarao City, Cagayan. The event brought together 23 first-year college students from different colleges and universities across the region, all vying for the title of regional champion and the opportunity to advance to the national level of the competition.

 The competition tested the participants’ mastery of statistical concepts, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills through a series of challenging written and oral rounds. Representing Saint Mary’s University was Helford Cristian Rick P. Siblag, a first-year Bachelor of Science in Accountancy student, under the guidance and mentorship of Mrs. Donna Bee R. Tominez. Mr. Siblag showcased remarkable knowledge, composure, and determination throughout the competition, earning third place among the region’s best young Statisticians.

Saint Mary’s University extends its heartfelt congratulations to Helford Cristian Rick P. Siblag for bringing pride and honor to the institution through his outstanding performance in the 29th Philippine Statistics Quiz Regional Championship.
