Saint Mary’s University Architecture Students Earns Multiple Recognitions at UAPSA National Excellence Awards 2026

The United Architects of the Philippines Student Auxiliary – Saint Mary’s University (UAPSA-SMU) earned multiple distinctions at the UAPSA National Excellence Awards 2026, held on May 17, 2026, at the Pangasinan Training Center II in Lingayen, Pangasinan.
The UAPSA National Excellence Awards is an annual recognition program that honors outstanding UAPSA chapters, officers, and initiatives across the Philippines, celebrating exemplary performance and contributions to the advancement of architecture education and student leadership. Competing among more than 100 UAPSA chapters from colleges and universities across the country, the chapter secured awards in both Area A and national-level categories.

1st Place – Best Advocate for Sustainability
1st Place – Best UAPSA Chapter Event
2nd Place – Best Philippine Architecture Festival – National Architecture Month (PAF-NAM) Celebration
2nd Place – Best Chapter President (Arcen Joyce Madet)
3rd Place – Most Accumulated Chapter Affiliation Points (CAPs)
Major Awards (Overall):
3rd Place – Overall Best Advocate for Sustainability
