The Faculty of Languages, under the School of Teacher Education and Humanities, proudly announces the outstanding participation of its faculty researchers and student presenters at the 8th Linguistic Society of the Philippines International Conference (LSPIC 2026), held at West Visayas State University, Iloilo City, on April 23–25, 2026.

Centered on the theme “Charting Future-Proof Paths in Linguistics and Language Education,” the conference brought together distinguished scholars, educators, and language practitioners from various institutions to engage in transformative dialogue on innovative pedagogies, emerging research directions, and the evolving role of linguistics in a rapidly changing global landscape.

The Faculty of Languages contributed the following scholarly works:

• From Fear to Fluency: A Basis for Crafting Support Mechanisms in Reducing Public Speaking Anxiety
